T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a globally recognized, full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that the Idaho Avenue Pedestrian Overcrossing (POC) in Santa Monica, California, has been awarded the prestigious 2017 International Bridge Conference (IBC) Arthur G. Hayden Medal. The Arthur G. Hayden Medal acknowledges a single recent outstanding achievement in bridge engineering demonstrating innovation in special use bridges, such as pedestrian, people-mover, or non-traditional structures. TYLI served as Prime Consultant for the project, providing concept alternatives analysis, final bridge design, plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E), and construction support for the overcrossing and improvements to the historic Idaho Trail.
