Duffy and McGovern has announced deals worth more than $140,000 in South East Asia and Australasia as it moves into a new base of operations for the region to facilitate its continual growth.

Duffy and McGovern Accommodation Services (DMAS) has fulfilled orders from Sakhalin to New Zealand in 2007, as its new build fleet expansion programme meets incredible demand from onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration operators.

DMAS distribution hub at Pandan Loop, Jurong province in Singapore, has a stock of more than 40 modules, which will rise to over 70 by the end of the year - underlining the firms commitment to the region.

The firms Singapore division, led by experienced operations and technical support engineer Darren Bohn, and including its regional sales staff, has now relocated to new offices at The Franklin, Science Park 1, close to the busy Jurong port and the evolving Tuas industrial park.

Duffy and McGovern is the only offshore module specialist in the region capable of supplying units which meet the latest ABS, SOLAS and IMO regulations and are DNV approved at short notice and to any configuration.

Canyon Offshore has rented a standalone four-man accommodation module for platform jacket inspection and survey work it is carrying out for the for PTT Exploration and Production Company Limited Thailands national oil producer on the Seacor Acclaim vessel.
