APEC Public Private Dialogue On Services (PPD III) in Boracay To Feature Manufacturing, Agriculture,

Boracay, The Philippines, 15 May 2015 APEC Senior Officials, in partnership with the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), and the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC), will hold the next round of the Public Private Dialogue on Services (PPD) at the Shangri-La Boracay on Sunday, 17 May, at the sidelines of the Second APEC Senior Officials Meeting (SOM2).

The PPD in Boracay is the second in the series of dialogues on services in 2015 envisioned to guide APECs public and private stakeholders in pursuing the services agenda of APEC through collaboration and best practice exchanges.  Following from the PPD in Clark on Information Technology and Creative Services, this PPD brings together a full spectrum of experts on services trade, as well as champions of businesses (both service providers and consumers) from the manufacturing, environment, and agriculture-related sectors.Dr. Sherry Stephenson of the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development, and Mr. Sebastian Saez of the World Bank will open the Dialogue with a session on Services and Inclusive Growth.
